What is chicken meal – and why is it the best choice in dry food?

Our chicken meal is made exclusively from fresh chicken muscle meat and high-quality offal such as heart, lungs, and liver – all of food quality and from free-range farming. These meat components are gently dried at low temperatures and then finely ground. The water is completely extracted – what remains is a highly concentrated meat meal with a residual moisture content of only approx. 8–10%.

• "Poultry protein", "Beef protein", "Duck protein", etc. – chemically enhanced slaughter waste. No real meat nutritional value.
• "Cellulose" – filler made from wood shavings or paper.
• Closed declaration – no precise percentage information.
• The "fresh meat" trick – 40% fresh meat contains 70–80% water. After drying, only an actual meat content of approx. 8–10% remains.
